sadly these were all during my freshman year. Since then I've been injured so I'm just trying to make my way back.

Short-Term Running Goals:

-Shin splints seem to be unavoidable but I'm hoping to be able to finish this year without having them turn into stressed fractures.

-I need to learn to be patient with building my mileage slowly. This may seem like a lame goal but this is my biggest problem. I wish I could just run!

Long-Term Running Goals:

One of these days I'm going to run a marathon and possibly an iron man... some day (:

Personal:

I'm a senior in high school and I love running mucho grande! XC is the bomb and Track.. well it's a way to pass time, and keep me in shape. I also love soccer, and I'm slightly obsessed with dancing. I have the best family ever, and great friends. I hope to graduate and go to SUU.  I also love going to the lake, river, pool... anything that involves swimming. I like to hang out with friends and basically just keep busy.

AM-Pyramids today! 1.5mile warm up, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 800, 600, 400, mile cool down. I felt great and kept up near stoner the whole time.

PM-easy 3. green springs. it was really fun. we all put antena things in our hair and looked supa legit (:

AM- speed work out. 1.5 warm up, 6x200's, and 1.5 cool down. The 200's were murder but hurt so good! I killed myself on every one of them and feel pretty good about it.

PM- easy 4 on region course with 8 striders. supa funn! (: Frida, Mia, kaylee and I just told stories the whole time. T'was grand (:  can't wait for region!

1.5 warm up, 100, 200, 300, 400, 400, 300, 200, 100, 1.5 cool down. Coach got all creative on us and drew up a 400 meter loop on the grass. so we ran pyramids on it. I rolled my ankle a couple hundred times but it was really fun. (: it was like a game. the JV girls went, then the JV boys were sent to catch them, then we went and were sent to catch all of them, and then the varsity boys were sent to catch us. it was insane but it was way fun! (:

Megan, Liz, Stoner, JP, Nikki, Mia, and I met out at the park in washington fields and went for a easy 4 miler. we mixed it up with a couple fartleks which were fun. It was a good run (: can't wait for state!

PM-The race was boss! it was my best race of the year. I didn't settle even once. It was way fun. I usually hate the state course but this year it was my favorite course. it's all in your attitude. (:
